January 6
Today, Evelyn and I went out for coffee with a dear friend and her baby.
Exercise:
Jillian's 30 Day Shred: 20 minutes
PINK Method Ab Workout: 10 minutes
I could have done more exercise today, but I upped myself to level 2 on Jillian's DVD and I pushed myself harder. I can already feel it =)
Drank water
I think I am already beginning to be able to tell a difference in my body!

Day 1 & 2
January 3, 2011
I have been working out off and on for a month now almost, but committing to doing something everyday. I'm just going to say that this is day 1. I will journal the things I have done to improve my health.
Worked out with P.I.N.K Method Phase 1 - "Kardio" ~ 20 minutes
January 4, 2011
Went to the chiropractor this am. I have a swayback from having babies and compressed spine. Had the electric-stim on an acute injury on my upper right back and heat pack. The the chiropractor adjusted my neck and lower back. Going back this friday, the 6th.
Ate fairly healthy today though I did have a starbucks coffee, and drank more water. Got some broth in this evening (doing the GAPS diet and trying to commit to the full diet more - more on this later).
This evening I took a bentonite clay bath and read a book.
Then I worked out with Jillian's "30 Day Shred" and P.I.N.K Method's Yoga workout. Whew, I worked up a sweat!! I will be awesomely sore tomorrow. That was the most intense workout I've done in a long time. Perhaps I should have taken the bath afterwards, but baths tend to "reset" me and motivate me - seeing myself naked in the mirror also helps.

Making a 90 Day Challenge
I have been struggling with my weight ever since I can remember. Even when I was thin as a little girl, I saw myself as bigger than everyone else. And now that I weigh 175lbs, I feel like I am 250. I've struggled with eating disorders, depression, and anxiety. As I write this I still don't believe I'll ever feel comfortable in my body or mind... but it's time to start acting on improving myself - inside out.
With my four girls, I don't have much time to exercise, meditate, or pamper myself. And, as a perfectionist - if I can't do it perfectly, I give up trying at all. We also don't have much money as my husband and I are both students. I work as a nurse's aide 1-2 nights a week and Kris is a basketball coach. We do jobs here and there as we can, but our main priority is our family. And this is why this challenge is so important for me. I want to improve myself for children. I want to wake up early excited to start the day, rain or shine. I want to not be reliant on coffee, chocolate, or sugar. I want to feel good and look good!
In the next 90 days (by April 2, 2012), my main goals are:
To lose 30 pounds (as a nursing mom, I don't want to lose too quickly and I want an attainable goal - but if I happen to pass that, great!)
Align my back with chiropractic care, yoga, exercises, and anything else I find
Start a support group for moms
Find a new church (though I think we have find one, but we need to try it out more)
Meditate every day
Walk every day
A mixture of yoga, cardio, and strength training every day
Drink lots of water every day
Drink more tea than coffee
Coffee to be made at home
Have more control over my emotions
Lessen yelling to nil
Lessen anxiety
Organize the house
Generate more income from home (financial stability means alot for my anxiety)
Build a stock of food for emergencies
